About Sojourner
Sojourner is the lodge-visitation game: visit lodges, verify your visits with an exterior photo after you arrive, collect passport stamps, and earn points for the road. The live test covers the lodges of Washington, seeded by the Monday Circuit. Test data will be reset on Tuesday, December 1, 2026.
Sojourner is an independent project, by and for traveling brothers. It is not an official product of, and is not endorsed by, the Grand Lodge of Washington or any lodge — and nothing in the app is an official lodge or Grand Lodge record.

What's New
- v0.6.0 — Nov 1, 2026. The Washington live test begins — test data will be reset on Tue, Dec 1, 2026. For test integrity the GPS demo mode is retired: check-ins use your real location or the provisional path. Payments are off (ad-free is a no-charge test grant after your first verified visit), rankings remain a demo preview, and referral rewards are not live yet. Email sign-in and sync are on.
- v0.5.1 — Oct 31, 2026. New coin art throughout: a true-round, cleaner rendering of the Sojourner coin — plain pillar capitals, fine sun rays, detailed serpent — now used for the app logo, home-screen icons, and share cards.
- v0.5.0 — Oct 31, 2026. Optional accounts: sign in from Profile with an email link — no password — and your passport syncs across your devices. Your existing visits and points on this device move into your account the first time you sign in. Nothing changes if you never sign in: the app still works fully on this device, offline included. (If the sign-in button says accounts are not switched on yet, the finishing server setup is still landing — your local passport is unaffected.)
- v0.4.1 — Oct 31, 2026. The “Meeting this week” strip is now a tab: “This week” and “All lodges” sit side by side at the top of the Lodges view — the week opens first, an empty week hands you the full list with a note, and the app remembers which side you used last. No more scrolling past the week to reach every lodge.
- v0.4.0 — Oct 31, 2026. This About section, with Terms of Use and credits. Distances now read in miles, and check-in distances in feet. A short first-run setup welcomes new players. A “Meeting this week” strip tops the Lodges view. Hall-accurate locations for Mount Moriah No. 11, Woodland-Kalama No. 17, Union City No. 27, Corinthian No. 38, Whitman No. 49, Grandview No. 191, North Hill No. 210, Daylight No. 232, Hood Canal No. 288, and Eastern Washington Lodge of Research No. 310.
- v0.3.2 — Oct 30, 2026. Layout rebuilt as an app shell so bars can never cover a card or a button; the Back button now walks back through the app; the header logo is a Home button.
- v0.3.1 — Oct 30, 2026. Lodge cards expand to full Lodge Locator details — address and map, district, next meeting, officers and contacts where listed; compact points coin on each card.
- v0.3.0 — Oct 29, 2026. Statewide: all 145 Washington lodges, with full-moon meeting support.
- v0.2.x — Oct 29, 2026. Tap-to-pick sort chips, meeting-day filters, and multi-key sorting for the lodge list.
- v0.2 — Oct 25, 2026. Gamified compact cards, sticky player header, player card, rankings preview, passport drill-downs, Home Lodge split from the origin point, explicit Save buttons.
- v0.1 — Oct 25, 2026. Pilot launch on the 26-lodge Monday Circuit: check-ins, First Light scoring, levels, and legacy marks.

Lodge names, addresses, meeting patterns, and the officer and contact details on lodge cards come from the Grand Lodge of Washington's public Lodge Locator. Listings change — confirm with the lodge before a long drive. Distances are road-time estimates, not surveyed routes.

Photo proof
Exterior only — the lodge sign or front door. Nothing from inside a tyled lodge room, ever. Do not photograph the porch book / register.
Out of range: confirming files a provisional check-in + relocation report with your GPS fix. Points stay pending until confirmed.
Tip: share your card after you leave — never broadcast that your house is empty.
